About me
I have spent 10 years in the US Navy after high school, and this is where I found that I was extremely interested in the mechanics of the oceans. I got the opportunity to travel around the world, experience different cultures, and I love sharing my experiences with my students. I also learned many life skills that I can share, such as work ethic, timeliness and communication.
Along with military experience, I have worked in a research lab, and have tutored classmates in organic chemistry while an undergraduate student.
Teaching has been something I feel called to do. Ever since I trained new members of our ship's crew while in the Navy, I knew that teaching was something I enjoyed and had a knack for.
Educating the future leaders of tomorrow to be contributing members of their community and to be life-long learners is something I strive to inspire my students to pursue.
